The Young Collectors Auction held on 30th of April, 2013 will feature over eighty lots of painting, sculpture, photography, video and installation works from acclaimed and emerging artists throughout the region. The Young Collectors Auction is very pleased to present more than thirty artists that will be seen on auction for the first time, in its continued effort to provide talented, emerging artists with a platform for showcasing their works.

Directly after the sale, The Young Collectors Auction is honoured to be hosting a charity auction to raise funds for the United Nations World Food Programme. Collaborating with The Farjam Foundation, Contemporary Practices Art Journal, the WFP, and The Samawi Collection, artists such as the late Farideh Lashai, Parviz Kalantari, Athier, and Marwa Adel, amongst others, have generously donated works of contemporary painting, sculpture and calligraphy to be auctioned in support of this great cause aimed at ending world hunger.
