The Lumen Prize was launched in 2012 by Treberfydd Foundation Ltd, a not-for-profit company registered in Wales, UK. The Lumen Prize is an international award that celebrates the very best fine art created digitally.
The competition and global exhibition are aimed at a growing, global public that is increasingly interested in art created with the latest technology.
HOW TO ENTER
The jury will be looking for digitally-created works of exceptional merit and originality. These may be 2D or time-based and may incorporate digital painting and drawing apps or techniques used to create graphic design, illustrations and/or animation. Entrants may also use CGI and/or moving-image software to produce 3-D and/or interactive time-based works with or without sound.
Photography is permitted where digital photo-manipulation is an intrinsic part of the work. Work must be created, at least in part, on tablets, digital cameras, smartphones or computers. Traditional work can be part of the creative process, but the output must be digital rather than physical.
