The International Drawing Annual’s goal is to support the recognition, documentation and publication of excellent, current and relevant works of drawing from around the world. The topic of this year’s festival is “Memory Migration.” Submissions should explore memory as a flexible structure that is migrating in time and space, from person to person, generation to generation, between social groups and nations, cities and continents, virtual and real world. Urban Research invites submissions on the topic of “Urbanisim and the Arab Uprisings: Beyond the Square,” a special issue exploring ways in which the urban has informed the ongoing Arab uprisings.
