2nd of April, 2011 will take place at Eldon & Choukri Auctioneers in Casablanca an Auction of Modern and Contemporary Arab Art.
It is the first time when one of the most prestigious private Collections of Moroccan Art will be sold.
Art Collection had started being assembled in the early 1960s by an art connoisseur and built upon until recently.
Most of the works were purchased directly from the artists.
The collection as a whole represents the achievements of first generation contemporary Moroccan artists, from an academic perspective, it is of tremendous and irreplaceable value.
Oriental painting of Isidorius Maria Cornelis Van Mens, many paintings of Mohamed Drissi and some abstract works of Miloud Labied among 95 lots which include also pieces of interior decor in Art Deco style early 20th century and arab antiquity.
