Exhibition of Kuwaiti artist Ghadah Alkandari “Stoires of Eve” continues till 29th of March at Tilal Gallery.
I’ve always known that each of my paintings held a story, variations of a story or different stories altogether. What I hadn’t realized before starting work on this collection was that my story begins before a painting starts and continues after its completion. Stories of Eve is a continiuum of such stories about the doings and misdoings of some girls called Eve.
