Shurooq Amin’ s London Exhibition

Kuwaiti artist Dr. Shurooq Amin SOLO Exhibition in London at Lahd Gallery start 3rd of March, 2011.

Shurooq Amin is a well-known established Kuwaiti artist. In these artworks Shurooq explores the polarity between East and West, the stories of young ladies living the modern life with the dreams, tentations and limits in their rebellion.  Sometimes they look superficially fashionable but there is a story behind every face and the women’s hidden world emerge out with the romantic ballads of famous Syrian poet Nizar Qabbani applied over the canvases.
