Tomorrow, Wednesday, 15th of June, 2011 at 7.30 PM everybody is welcome to attend the Grand Re-Opening of Free Atelier Studio (Al Marsam Al Hur).
Free Atelier Studio is a historical place for first Kuwaiti Art movement and these days will open the doors for all art lovers, art collectors and researchers of Kuwaiti culture and heritage.
Kuwaiti artists : Ali Numan, Abdulaziz Arti, Adel Al Khalaf, Fadhel Al Abbar, Mohammed Al Shibani, Jassim Murad, Abdul Rida Baqer, Mohammad Hussein, Mahmoud Ashkanani, Mahmoud Al Qattan, Nawaf Al Hmeli, Ahmad Al Ayyoub, Yacoub Al Jeeran, Abbas Malik, Hussain Mussaieb, Mohammad Mussaieb and Thuraya Al Baqsami, Samar Al Bader, Sheikha Sinan, May Al Saad, Suhaila Al Najdy, Khadeeja Bahaweed are preparing the exhibition of their paintings and sculptures.
By personal invitation of Kuwaiti artist Mahmoud Ashkanani we have visited the place and met the artists.

Is it a men's club?
2 Anonymous: It isn't a club, it is an area similar to Bastakiya in Dubai. Kuwaiti artists could apply and perhaps to get a studio there to work, to be inside the artistic community. All the others are welcome as the visitors, researchers and guests.
2 Moayad and Fatima: Yes, the library doesn't have this value, how it should be, some books are broken and need to be repaired. I hope smth will change with time.
