“First He Wrought, and Afterward He Taught”
Geoffrey Chaucer, The Canterbury Tales
Dar Al Funoon is proud to host Dr. Parviz Tanavoli and his students for an exhibition of sculptures (small format) and jewelry.
Painter, sculptor, collector and scholar, Parviz Tanavoli is one of the most successful artists of the Middle East. He is also an influential teacher and has generously shared his knowledge and craft with a young generation of eager students.
This exhibition is the result of that generosity and brings together works of jewelry by twenty-five young artists exhibited alongside the master’s own original creations.
Dr. Tanavoli will be present at the opening.
