Tajreed Arab Abstract Art

Meanwhile MoMA New York celebrates centenary of the birth of abstract art with the project  Inventing Abstraction, 1910–1925, CAP Kuwait hosted an exhibition curated by Saleh Barakat (Founder of Agial Gallery, Beirut) TAJREED – A Selection of Arab Abstract Art – Part 1  featuring paintings and sculptures of arab artists born in the period 1908-1960.

All artworks are the property of several Middle Eastern collectors. Exhibition features early artworks of Kuwaiti artists Monira Al Qadi, Jafar Islah and Jafar Dashti.
