Opening is on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 7pm
Exhibition of Moroccan artist Ahmed Rashide and Sudanese artist Rashid Diab.
“Art is a knowledge; I think an artist must be an avid reader and fully conscious of his contribution to the world of art. Every stroke, every line, whatever may be in the artist’s mind, whether apparent or not in his work, transferred or not from his mind to his art, is a part of life. This is why during the creation of a piece of work an artist could be a master of all schools or tendencies from the start to when he considers it finished. The lapse in time takes me through fractions of seconds and centuries. It really doesn’t matter if it’s in the past, present of future. What is important is how I can achieve the colour, shape and form to express this fraction of time.” – Rashid Diab
